A man was arraigned in court and charged with malicious damage of a police walkie-talkie.
Cosmas Vaati , 27, was charged that on February 1, 2019 at General Mathenge Drive, he stole a police Huawei radio worth Sh200,000.
Cosmas faced a separate count of malicious damage of national police service hand-held radio worth Sh200,000.
It was alleged that he intentionally and wilfully destroyed the radio jointly with another person not before court.
Vaati is alleged to have picked the gadget along General Mathenge Road from a cop who had left it inside the car as she went to clear traffic.
After investigations, the gadget was found with Vaati at industrial Area.

He denied the charges and was released on a Sh200,000 cash bail.
